Wednesday 9th; CROSSED OFF

Over a week now into the project and i know the days are just going to run by!

I hope by keeping this blog and having print offs of my daily time plan to refer to i will be able to keep on track (the time plan will add to my journal). I have now handed over my Statement of Intent, SOI and bibliography. Below is the introduction to my SOI which i will be analysing and expanding on each day now, leading to a concise presentation of all my ideas and work at the exhibition.

'In previous projects I have looked at mechanisms and up cycling. ‘Openings’, is broad enough to encompass all styles and methods of working I have trialled to lead to a unique and personal response; pulling the year together.
Key skills are important in art and design as are original ideas and a personal style.
‘Fashion fades, only style remains the same.’ *
I plan to draw upon and focus on the importance of ideas rather than ‘final pieces’.'

I have also had to hand in my robust time plan, in my mind the most crucial part of the project. It also shows my ambition for this project. My skills of time management and organisation will be represented by how I stick to the day plans and how I solve any delays or changes in ideas. I know that i will have to learn to adapt my ideas, working methods and have to realise real life time constraints that happen in the design world.
