at the medical centre. The Royal Exchange Theatre, Haywood Gallery, Natural History Museum- (included a great piece based on knitting, on a huge scale!) TATE, the large open exhibition space at the bottom was covered, in to scale clay sunflower seeds, this idea of presenting on mass was effective (possibly a technique to remember?).
It was all a perfect opportunity to mix with others from the course socially as well as about projects and talk to tutors about a variety of artists and exhibitions they had been to and been to in the past, all adding to inspiration, influences, bulking up the diary and journal for this project.
Friday, Cath and I decided to go out to Paddington after seeing Thomas Heatherwick's glass bead installation to visit his folding bridge. Followed by the V and A which we had been amazed by on Wednesday, it was both our first time of going, was unbelievable!
