As things are coming to the end and getting closer, there is less to report, other than the ideas and concepts that I have written about an here are slotting into place (fingers crossed), this week has been and will continue to be about sewing letters together in any 'down time', making sure everything I have done already is kept save, works together etc and is documented and explained, on here, in sketchbook (manual), notebook, diary and journal. As well as this, so far I have been printing off 'blog publications' for my sketchbook and analysing.
The letters are to add to that 'confusion' effect I have mentioned that instructions can make-my design problem, I want my exhibition space to be a visual off this. Meaning that it will only really work if I have a mass of letters, this dramatic effect that I have imagined is what I am most nervous about.
I have also been perfecting the instructions in there first stage 'the problem', writing them up on acetate and hanging them in front of 'the jumbled card'. I will also need to make the empty manual binds to go on the floor. Make small collaged pages of the instructions for the second stage, more useful instructions. And finish off some of the models of the instructions in there final forms!! I will continue to get through this until Monday the 23rd and report back-will hopefully have some photos of the first day setting up in my space!-the part I have centred my work around and most interested in; composition and presentation.
