As I originally decided Silk Screen printing would be one of the process I would explain how to do as part of this project.
From doing the original workshop a while ago I was nervous to go on my own again, thankfully I went early and the workshop was not too busy which enabled Mike the technician time to give me a quick refresher on the terms I needed to include in my final set of instructions as well quickly how to do it again, I quickly picked it up again and have been very pleased with the result. I feel they will fit in with my other models and theme of my exhibition space.
I plan to write up the instructions on acetate, to continue the 'layered' effect to my presentation space.
I have backed the printed talking mouths with a sheet of the 'jumbled' cut lettering. All the jumbled lettering and text is meant to show the confusion often caused by instructions as well as the mass of instructions out there we barely notice-the 'sub-concious' instructions I have explained. All hung on invisible thread again to create the layers.
Screen 1, which I am using to show, is secure in the frame of the 'bed'.
Acetate is used to line up the images.
All images dried quickly and looked especially effective, I put this down to the photoshop work I did prior to printing to the images.
